The Meridian Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is looking for
Adam James in relation to the shooting that occurred earlier today at Mr. Carwash. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Lauderdale County Corner Clayton Cobbler has confirmed that the person who was shot in downtown Meridian has died in the operating room.
The shooting happened at Mr Carwash, the corner of 4th street and 25th avenue. It happened a little after noon. The MPD has not released any information about the suspect.
