The Meridian Police department has identified the victim that was murdered last night. A little after 10 pm Garryon Owens, 23 of Meridian was gun downed in the 2300 block of Hwy 39 North. Owens was rushed to a local hospital where pronounced deceased. This marks the 9th person murdered in Meridian this year.
