One Person has been shot this afternoon near the 600 block of MLK drive. A few minutes MPD responded to a male subject who had been shot in the hip. He was able to describe to police where his location was. Witnesses in the area are saying they heard two shots fired a little after 3pm. The male subject has been transported to a local hospital.
