The  Philadelphia, MS Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place on Valley View Drive this afternoon. A person was shot in the foot and has been taken for medical care. The suspect has been identified and Chief Eric Lynos is expected to make an arrest soon. There is no threat to the public,more to follow as information is available.
