Video from Hwy 495 just south of hwy 16 in Kemper County , where some type of Party/ 4wheeler/horse ride took place. Witness report hearing three shots just before midnight.
I have conformation that a person was transported to a Meridian hospital where they would later be pronounced dead. More details to follow as they become available this morning.
Update-
Sheriff James Moore said the Investigation is ongoing that occurred last night and added that a female was also shot in the leg. She was transported to Jackson and has been released from the hospital.
