One Lane of Traffic on I-20 as clean-up continues from 18 Wheeler Wreck.

A 18 wheeler wrecked this afternoon at mile marker 131 in the west bound lane of I-20. Traffic was backed up to exit 152 in Meridian at one point. The wreck may have been caused when the left front tire blew out on the rig sending it off the road and over turning. The shipment of frozen chickens will not make their destination as planed. The driver was taken to a local hospital without life threatening injuries.

Currently there is only one lane of traffic open and clean-up is expected to take up to another three hours. approach the area with caution if you headed west out of Meridian.
