On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office received an anonymous tip about a residence on County Road 539 in Neshoba County. After arriving on scene, Investigators were able to obtain a search warrant for the residence located at 11660 Road 539. During the search of the residence, deputies discovered and dismantled an indoor marijuana grow operation, multiple pounds of packaged marijuana (7 kilos), including cookies, gummies, brownies, THC liquid vape pen cartridges, bulk US Currency, and multiple firearms. All items were removed from the property and seized by the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office.
Agents from the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, Alcohol Beverage Control, and Child Protective Service were requested to assist with the investigation. Children were present at the residence, when law enforcement arrived to check on the complaint. The children were released to a family member, prior to the execution of the warrant.
