Officer Bolie Stokes with the Newton County Sheriff's Department Interdiction Team made a traffic stop today of a car matching a description of a car wanted out of Dallas, TX. The car was being driven by Anuar Osvaldo Garces traveling east on I-20 and was pulled over at mile marker 118. Working with the US Marshal's Office, Garces was a identified as the suspect where a woman was stabbed in the back in Dallas this morning. Garces was taken into custody without incident.
