Earlier this morning two vehicles were reported stolen , a 2014 F150 and a 2015 Mercedes. We are awaiting further information from MPD but aware an arrest has taken place involving a juvenile.
Both cars belonged to the same family, more details to follow once they are available.
Update from MPD
The Meridian Police Department took a report for two stolen vehicles this morning from the area of Newell road and 45th Court. About three hours later the vehicles were recovered after one of the suspects made several post on social media bragging about stealing the vehicles. Two juveniles were taken into custody at Old Marion Road Apartments. They both have been charged with motor vehicle theft.
