MPD Gang Unit With the Assistance of Special Operations and U.S. Marshals Make Arrest in Murder

The Meridian Police Department Gang Unit with the assistance of the Special Operations Unit and the U.S. Marshals made these arrests on Monday, March 18, 2024. 

Christian Johnson was arrested and charged with Murder for the shooting death of Marvin Horn Jr. that occurred on March 10, 2024, in the 2000 Block of Mosby Road. Johnson was also charged with 5 counts of Aggravated Assault, shooting into a dwelling with a firearm enhancement, and 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance, for a shooting that occurred in the 300 Block of 45th/46th Avenue on February 23, 2024. Johnson has no bond.

Landen Hopson has been charged with 5 counts of Aggravated Assault and shooting into a dwelling for the shooting that occurred on February 23, 2024, in the 300 Block of 45th/46th Avenue. Hopson’s bond was set at $90,000.

Nikita Jenkins has been charged with aiding and abetting the shooting that occurred on February 23. Jenkins’ bond was set at $100,000.

Rhonda Hopson has been charged with aiding and abetting for the shooting that occurred on February 23. Hopson’s bond was set at $10,000.
