Meridian man charged for armed robbery of Money Now location
Travis Burkes, 40, a suspect in the Jan. 9 armed robbery of a Meridian business, has been taken into custody and charged by the Meridian Police Department.
According to Acting Assistant Chief Patrick Gale, a warrant for Burkes' arrest was issued Friday for the early afternoon armed robbery at Money Now, located at 824 45th Ave.
An undisclosed amount of money was taken by Burkes in the armed robbery. Gale said some of the money has been recovered.
Bond is set at $750,000, Gale said.
