Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 118 calls for service from September 9, 2024 at 6:00 AM to September 10, 2024 at 6:00 AM.
The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.
Robbery
At 10:17 PM on September 9, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 4500 block of Vally Street. The victim stated he was threatened with guns and cash and property were taken, the case is currently under investigation.
Commercial Burglary
There were no commercial burglaries reported.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
There were no stolen vehicles reported.
Auto Burglary
At 6:40 AM on September 9, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 3300 block of 27th Street. Entry was gained through a door.
At 12:40 PM on September 9, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 5000 block of West Gate Hills Drive. Entry was gained through a door.
Residential Burglary
There were no residential burglaries reported.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 3 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 1 showed any evidence was found to support the calls.
At 8:24 PM on September 9, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 1500 block of 45th Avenue. The case is currently under investigation.
