Robbery
There were no robberies reported.
Commercial Burglary
At 3:07 PM on August 7, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 3400 block of Highway 45 North. Entry was gained through a door.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
At 8:11 AM on August 7, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 4300 block of North Hills Street. The case is currently under investigation.
At 9:19 AM on August 7, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 4200 block of 23rd Avenue. The case is currently under investigation.
Auto Burglary
At 10:16 AM on August 7, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 4200 block of 50th Street. Entry was gained through a door.
Residential Burglary
At 9:54 AM on August 7, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 1400 block of 47th Avenue. Entry was gained through a door.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 3 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 1 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
At 10:23 PM on August 7, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 900 block of 45th Avenue. One vehicle was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
