Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 730 calls for service from July 26, 2024 at 6:00 AM to July 31, 2024 at 6:00 AM.
The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.
Robbery
At 3:49 PM on July 29, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an attempted carjacking in the 6200 block of 5th Street. The victim stated she was assaulted and the suspected attempted to take her vehicle, the case is currently under investigation.
Commercial Burglary
There were no commercial burglaries reported.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
At 7:34 AM on July 30, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 1100 block of 45th Avenue. The case is currently under investigation.
Auto Burglary
At 11:30 AM on July 28, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 2700 block of 45th Street. Entry was gained through a door.
At 9:42 AM on July 30, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 4900 block of 14th Street. Entry was gained through a door.
At 10:06 AM on July 30, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 4300 block of Highway 39 North. Entry was gained through a door.
Residential Burglary
At 2:22 PM on July 30, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 4500 block of Highway 39 North. Entry was gained through a door.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 14 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 2 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
At 2:35 PM on July 29, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 200 block of 46th Avenue. One individual was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
At 9:07 PM on July 30, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 4200 block of Terry Street. One residence was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
