The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.
Robbery
At 2:04 PM on May 5, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 4800 block of 8th Street. The victims stated a gun was displayed and merchandise was taken, the case is currently under investigation.
Commercial Burglary
At 8:20 AM on May 4, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 100 block of 22nd Avenue South. Entry was gained through a window.
At 11:58 AM on May 4, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 2200 block of Front Street. Entry was gained through a door.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
There were no stolen vehicles reported.
Auto Burglary
At 9:18 AM on May 4, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 4900 block of 14th Street. Entry was gained through a door.
Residential Burglary
At 5:33 PM on May 5, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 100 block of 71st Place. Entry was gained through a window.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 6 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 1 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
At 2:47 PM on May 4, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 1500 block of 47th Avenue. One individual was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
