Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 636 calls for service from April 26, 2024 at 6:00 AM to May 1, 2024 at 6:00 AM.
The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.
Robbery
At 10:42 PM on April 29, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a strong arm robbery in the 3000 block of 7th Street. The victim stated he was assaulted and cash was taken, the case is currently under investigation.
Commercial Burglary
At 10:22 AM on April 29, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 2500 block of Sellers Drive. Entry was gained through a door.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
At 1:24 AM on April 27, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 3900 block of 36th Street. The vehicle has been recovered.
Auto Burglary
There were no auto burglaries reported.
Residential Burglary
There were no residential burglaries reported.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 13 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 1 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
At 12:34 PM on April 29, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 3800 block of Davis Street. One residence was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
