Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 105 calls for service from April 7, 2024 at 6:00 AM to April 8, 2025 at 6:00 AM.
The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.
Robbery
At 11:18 AM on April 7, 2025, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 2400 block of Highway 19 North. The victim stated he was threatened and assaulted with a firearm and cash was taken, the case is currently under investigation.
Commercial Burglary
At 3:15 PM on April 7, 2025, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 1600 block of Tommy Webb Drive. Entry was gained through a door.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
At 3:50 PM on April 7, 2025, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 100 block of Highway 11 & 80. The vehicle has been recovered.
Auto Burglary
There were no auto burglaries reported.
Residential Burglary
There were no residential burglaries reported.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 1 shot fired call and when Officers arrived on scene, there wasn’t any evidence found to support the call
