Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 424 calls for service from April 5, 2024 at 6:00 AM to April 8, 2024 at 6:00 AM.
The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.
Robbery
At 4:33 AM on April 7, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 100 block of Highway 11 & 80. The victim stated he was threatened with a gun and cash was taken, the case is currently under investigation.
Commercial Burglary
At 12:40 PM on April 5, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 4800 block of Poplar Springs Drive. Entry was gained through a door.
At 9:26 PM on April 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 100 block of 22nd Avenue South. Entry was gained through a window.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
At 6:42 AM on April 5, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 2600 block of 12th Avenue. The vehicle has been recovered.
Auto Burglary
At 10:39 AM on April 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 4600 block of Vally Street. Entry was gained through a window.
At 11:46 AM on April 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 700 block of 46th Avenue. Entry was gained through a window.
At 10:43 AM on April 7, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 500 block of Bonita Lakes Drive. Entry was gained through a window.
Residential Burglary
At 10:06 AM on April 4, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 1700 block of Highway 19 North. Entry was gained through a door.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 10 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 3 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
At 5:54 PM on April 5, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 1200 block of 44th Avenue. One residence was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
