Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 128 calls for service from March 6, 2024 at 6:00 AM to March 7, 2024 at 6:00 AM.

The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.

Robbery

There were no robberies reported.

Commercial Burglary

There were no commercial burglaries reported.

Church Burglary

There were no church burglaries reported.

Stolen Vehicles

At 7:01 PM on March 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 3800 block of Paulding Street. The vehicle has been recovered.

Auto Burglary

There were no auto burglaries reported.

Residential Burglary

At 3:19 PM on March 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 2300 block of Highway 45 North. Entry was gained through a door.

Shootings

Meridian Police responded to 11 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 1 showed any evidence found to support the calls.

At 8:44 PM on March 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 2100 block of 14th Street. One structure was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
