Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 430 calls for service from March 1, 2024 at 6:00 AM to March 5, 2024 at 6:00 AM.
The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.
Robbery
At 11:17 AM on March 1, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 2900 block of Saint Paul Street. The victim stated he was threatened with a gun and his phone was taken, the case is currently under investigation.
Commercial Burglary
There were no commercial burglaries reported.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
There were no stolen vehicles reported.
Auto Burglary
At 9:24 AM on March 4, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 2600 block of Sellers Drive. Entry was gained through a door.
At 3:49 PM on March 4, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 1100 block of Constitution Avenue. Entry was gained through a door.
Residential Burglary
At 12:14 AM on March 2, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 3800 block of Poplar Springs Drive. Entry was gained through a window.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 11 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 1 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
At 9:14 AM on March 3, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 1300 block of 47th Avenue. One individual was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
