Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 318 calls for service from March 8, 2024 at 6:00 AM to March 11, 2024 at 6:00 AM.
The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.
Robbery
There were no robberies reported.
Commercial Burglary
At 11:26 PM on March 10, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 1300 block of 22nd Avenue Heights. Entry was gained through a door.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
There were no stolen vehicles reported.
Auto Burglary
There were no auto burglaries reported.
Residential Burglary
There were no residential burglaries reported.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 15 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 3 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
At 9:15 PM on March 8, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 100 block of 50th Avenue. One residence was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
At 10:47 PM on March 9, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 2400 block of Old Marion Road. One residence was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
At 9:04 PM on March 10, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 2000 block of Mosby Road. Two individuals, two residences and two vehicles were struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
