The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.
Robbery
At 7:39 PM on February 25, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an armed robbery in the 600 block of 45th Avenue. The victim stated they were threatened with guns and property and cash were taken, the case is currently under investigation.
Commercial Burglary
There were no commercial burglaries reported.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
At 11:03 PM on February 24, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 2700 block of Poplar Springs Drive. The vehicle has been recovered.
Auto Burglary
There were no auto burglaries reported.
Residential Burglary
At 8:51 PM on February 24, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 600 block of 34th Avenue. Entry was gained through a door.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 10 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 3 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
At 9:06 AM on February 23, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 5800 block of 5th Street. One residence was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
At 7:27 PM on February 23, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 300 block of 46th Avenue. One vehicle and one residence were struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
At 11:20 PM on February 23, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 2700 block of 11th Street. One individual was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
