Meridian Police Department was requested to respond to 234 calls for service from December 6, 2024 at 6:00 AM to December 9, 2024 at 6:00 AM.

The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.

Robbery

There were no robberies reported.

Commercial Burglary

At 11:16 AM on December 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 3400 block of Highway 45 North. Entry was gained through a door.

Church Burglary

There were no church burglaries reported.

Stolen Vehicles

At 8:51 PM on December 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 1000 block of Bonita Lakes Circle. The case is currently under investigation.

At 9:01 PM on December 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 3200 block of Highway 45 North. The vehicle has been recovered.

At 1:15 PM on December 7, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 2200 block of 20th Avenue. The vehicle has been recovered.

Auto Burglary

At 2:02 PM on December 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to an auto burglary in the 4400 block of 24th Street. Entry was gained through a door.

Residential Burglary

At 2:03 AM on December 8, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 5100 block of Shumate Road. Entry was gained through a window.

Shootings

Meridian Police responded to 8 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 1 showed evidence found to support the calls.

At 12:23 AM on December 7, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 2100 block of 14th Street. One individual was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
