The following were reported to the Meridian Police Department.
Robbery
At 9:14 PM on October 29, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a strong armed robbery in the 4600 block of 5th Street. The victim stated he was assaulted and cash was taken, the case is currently under investigation.
Commercial Burglary
There were no commercial burglaries reported.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
There were no stolen vehicles reported.
Auto Burglary
There were no auto burglaries reported.

Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 17 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 6 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
At 3:39 PM on October 29, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 300 block of 45th Avenue. One individual and one vehicle were struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
At 7:09 PM on October 29, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 700 block of 48th Avenue. One residence was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
At 7:45 PM on October 29, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 4300 block of Royal Road. One residence was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
At 8:51 PM on October 29, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 4600 block of 5th Street. One individual and one vehicle were struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
At 9:45 PM on October 29, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 200 block of 44th Street. Two vehicles were struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
