Robbery
There were no robberies reported.
Commercial Burglary
At 4:09 PM on January 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a commercial burglary in the 1100 block of B Street. Entry was gained through a window.
Church Burglary
There were no church burglaries reported.
Stolen Vehicles
At 5:38 PM on January 5, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 100 block of Highway 19 North. The case is currently under investigation.
At 6:21 PM on January 5, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 1300 block of 33rd Avenue. The case is currently under investigation.
Auto Burglary
There were no auto burglaries reported.
Residential Burglary
At 11:11 AM on January 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a residential burglary in the 5000 block of 21st Street. Entry was gained through a door.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 13 shots fired calls and when Officers arrived on scene, only 5 showed any evidence found to support the calls.
At 8:40 PM on January 6, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 2000 block of Mosby Road. One residence and one vehicle were struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
At 5:58 PM on January 7, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 900 block of 42nd Avenue. Two vehicles were struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
At 5:58 PM on January 7, 2024, Meridian Police responded to a shooting in the 3900 block of 10th Street. One residence was struck by gunfire, the case is currently under investigation.
