Kemper County Pay Raise Causes Friction With County Employees
In a 3-2 vote the Kemper County Board of Supervisors approved a pay raise for the Kemper Neshoba Correctional Faciality employees. It is unclear which employees at the prison will be getting the bump in pay. I've received countless calls that the Road and Bridge Crew feel they deserve a raise as well.
Reports are the employees were told it would be October before any raises were voted on by the Board of Supervisors.
