Hwy 19 South Claims Life

An early morning accident has claimed the life of a Lauderdale County woman on Hwy 19 South. Lauderdale County Coroner Stella McMahan confirms Jaimee Rowry lost her life in the accident. Around 7:42 am on the two-lane portion of Hwy 19, the car Rowry was driving attempted to pass a vehicle and struck another vehicle head-on. A child was a passenger in the vehicle and was taken for medical care along with the driver of the other vehicle.
