Sheriff Joedy Pennington of Newton County confirmed that a Newton High School Student lost their life in an accident yesterday around 3 pm. Th wreck happened when 17 year old Marquez Poole lost control on a wet road and crashed north of Newton on Pine Bluff Road. We send prayers to the family and friends during their time of grief.
Oh, how horrible.
