East MS Correctional Facility Employee Arrested

The Mississippi Department of Corrections has been investigating an alleged sexual relationship between an inmate and a correctional employee. Today the MDOC arrested and charged Ashley Thompson with Sexual Penetration of Incarcerated Offender By Law Enforecement. Thompson, 30 of Lake, MS was booked into the Lauderdale County Detention Center at 4:42 pm this afternoon and has a $2000.00 bond.
