Clarke County Circuit Court Sends 3 to MDOC

Clarke County Circuit Court term started June 3rd and ended June 14th. These 3 cases were resolved and the individuals were sentenced to the Mississippi Department of Corrections

Ezekiel Brownlee was charged with Sexual Battery and sentenced to 20 years in the custody of the Department of Corrections 10 years initially suspended with 10 to serve and 5 years post-release supervision with $3,940.50 in fines.

Ernest Devun was charged with Sexual Battery and was sentenced to 25 years in the custody of MDOC and 20 years suspended. He will serve 5 years.he will also serve 5 years of probation and pay $2,920 in fines

Dennis Ray Latney was charged with Possession Of a Controlled Substance (0.594 grams of methamphetamine. He will serve one year with MDOC and pay a total of $1,367.50 in fines.
