Arrest Made in Madisyn Evans Murder

The Newton County Sheriff's Office, Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI), and Newton Police Department have made arrests in the December 23rd murder of Madisyn Evans.

The individuals charged are as listed Left to Right

• Lakeithia Ford - ( hindering prosecution)

• Quintavious Johnson - (shooting into an occupied vehicle, tampering with physical evidence, and Capital Murder)

• Carlonte Walker - Accessroy after the fact to Capital Murder and tampering with physical evidence.

• Jakarie Love - (shooting into an occupied vehicle, tampering with physical evidence, and Capital Murder)

• Brandon Shephard - (accessory before the fact to Capital Murder and tampering with physical evidence )
