Reports are coming in of a shooting this afternoon on Shumate Road. The person was transported to a local hospital with a gun shot wound to the hand. Shumate Road is located off of North Hills Street and runs beside Northcrest Baptist Church. MPD is investigating, more details to follow as they become available.
