Meridian, Mississippi is preparing for a full day of celebration as we mark America's 250th birthday on Saturday, July 4.

The day will include live entertainment, the America 250 Parade, a community ceremony, family activities, and a fireworks spectacular to close out the evening.

Schedule:

3:00 PM — KidZone, City Hall Lawn

4:00 PM — Parade Lineup, Singing Brakeman Park

5:00 PM — America 250 Parade

6:00 PM — America 250 Ceremony on City Hall Lawn

6:30 PM — America 250 Concert featuring Todd Tilghman, Jamal Roberts, Daniel Houze and Bobby Rush

10:00 PM — Fireworks Display
